Full-Time Director of Safety
Our Director of Safety is responsible for the overall execution of our safety program with an aim towards injury-free productivity.
Executive Safety Committee
Our Executive Safety Committee meets monthly to review the progress of our safety program’s goals and to keep the company aligned with achieving those goals.

Our Department Safety Committees meet monthly to review the progress of our safety program’s goals, review incidents, offer feedback, and provide a source of ownership.

Safety Leadership Training
We provide ongoing leadership training to our leadership team in an effort to develop all of our leaders into effective safety leaders.
Daily Project Pre-Task Analysis and Inspections
Every project starts the day with a safety evaluation of that day’s work, a project safety inspection, and a team safety huddle to drive awareness and performance.
Weekly Safety Reports Distributed
Weekly safety performance reports are distributed to all department managers and the Vice President of operations for review.
Safety Analysis Reports
Risk and injury safety analysis reports are developed and reviewed with all committees on a quarterly basis.
CSP Risk Managers
Our insurance company’s risk managers are all designated Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and we use these resources on a monthly basis for risk analysis, project safety performance, and safety committees.
MIOSHA CET Training
We use MIOSHA’s CET training services on a quarterly basis for project risk analysis and safety training.
Accountability Program
Our Accountability Program is a program designed to clearly communicate and enforce our safety program’s expectations.
OSHA 10 or 30-hour Certified Workforce
We provide ongoing OSHA 10 and 30 hour certifications for our entire work force to ensure our team is fully educated in OSHA’s safety standards.
Online Safety Training
We provide ongoing and as needed safety training through a web based training system.
100% Hard Hat, Safety Glasses and Gloves Policy
To prevent the most frequent types of injuries, we have adopted a 100% hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves policy.
Project-Specific Safety Orientations
All of our projects start with a pre-construction safety orientation to the project to review our standards and expectations.
Drug Screening
It is our policy to provide a work environment that is free of the effects of substance abuse. Drug and alcohol testing includes all pre-employment, post-incident, random, and reasonable suspicion.
