PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Tim is the President and CEO of Pioneer Construction. Since 1995, Tim has been personally involved with construction administration on many of Pioneer’s high-profile projects. Tim’s extensive construction experience, industry knowledge, and unique approach to servant leadership is respected throughout the organization and community.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As the Chief Financial Officer for Pioneer Construction, Randy is responsible for managing risk, financial planning, data analysis and reporting. Randy has been with Pioneer since 1985 and served as President from 2001-2004. He also represents Pioneer in our community including a professorship in accounting at Grace Bible College.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
As Executive Vice President, Chris is responsible for developing, driving, and implementing corporate strategy for Pioneer Construction, including developing new and existing client relationships, oversight of Information Technology, and identifying and implementing strategic business partnerships. Chris re-joined Pioneer Construction in 2009, following a successful career in the commercial real estate development and brokerage arena in West Michigan.
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Jason Gibbs joined the Pioneer Construction team in 2014 with over a decade of commercial construction business development experience. Jason comes from a long line of builders within his family. Jason began working with his father on both residential and commercial projects at an early age and his passion for working in the construction industry has been his vehicle to success. Jason is a single source for our clients assisting in tenant relations, design development, financing and development. Having worked with many different disciplines from industrial to medical and office to retail his access to clients and resources allows for a smooth and seamless pre-construction process.
VICE PRESIDENT OF FIELD OPERATIONS
As Vice President of Field Operations, Christopher leads the review of projects for constructability issues. He plays an important role in Project Planning and Quality Control. Christopher provides oversight of the schedule and project manpower during construction. Christopher has worked with Pioneer Construction since 1996 and has a wide range of experience in the construction industry as a Structural Steel Foreman, Metal Building Foreman and Project Superintendent.
VICE PRESIDENT OF ESTIMATING AND PRE-CONSTRUCTION
As Vice President of Estimating and Pre-Construction Services, Paul oversees all of Pioneer's pre-construction activities, as well as acting as the primary estimator on multiple projects. Paul has the experience to provide accurate budget estimates and hard dollar quotes for complex projects, and to advise on all aspects of project planning. These include Value Engineering, work sequencing, phasing, critical path scheduling, quality control, and comparative cost analysis of assemblies and systems. Paul has worked in the construction industry since 1976.
VICE PRESIDENT AND SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
As Vice President and Senior Project Manager, Scott’s responsibilities include pre-construction, bid scope set-ups, pre-qualification of subcontractors, and communication conduit amongst the OAC team. Scott has the ability to efficiently organize the flow of information on projects with multiple phases and high degrees of complexity. His straight forward management approach allows him to provide effective leadership, directing the efforts and focus of the project team. His direct involvement assures that the full resources of his firm are dedicated to this project.
VICE PRESIDENT OF DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
Mike Bouman leads Pioneer’s Architectural and Engineering Services Team. Mike is a LEED Accredited Professional, Registered Professional Engineer, and graduate of the Structural Engineering program at Michigan Technological University. Mike provides shop drawing and submittal review for our project teams and leads the design team on our Design/Build projects.
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
As vice president of construction management, Justin will lead the project management team throughout the construction process. During preconstruction he will provide direction and support for project bid packaging and phasing, budget validation, value engineering, preconstruction estimates and construction planning. During construction, he will be responsible for the master schedule, contract administration, and quality control. Justin will remain with the project through close-out, validation, and commissioning.
Justin has over twenty years of experience in construction management.
