GVSU Housing 2001

Wood frame construction with a brick veneer exterior.  Stone window sills and stone arched entrances add a sense of permanence that fits in with the campus environment.  Unlike dorm facilities, the new student apartments are equipped with full kitchens and bathroom facilities and are wired into the campus computer network.  The project included extensive fencing and pedestrian planning to safely coordinate construction during the school year.  The Kleiner Commons was complete on a fast track summer months schedule for zero down time to the normal operations of the campus.
